The watch features a 40 mm Oyster case with a fluted 18K Everose gold bezel, a design detail dating back to the original 1956 Day-Date. The dial displays both the day of the week, spelled out in full at 12 o'clock through the wide aperture, and the date at 3 o'clock, magnified by the Cyclops lens. Depending on configuration, dials are available in a range of finishes and colors, with applied hour markers offering excellent legibility.
