The Panerai Luminor GMT – Ref. PAM01279 fuses the brand’s unmistakable Italian design language with modern lightweight materials. Encased in a 42 mm sandblasted titanium cushion case, this reference is distinguished by its technical Carbotech bezel — a high-performance carbon composite known for its strength, durability, and unique layered appearance.

The case measures approximately 13.2 mm in thickness and integrates Panerai’s patented crown-protecting bridge lever device, glare-resistant sapphire crystal, and a screw-down titanium caseback, ensuring 100 meters of water resistance. The captivating blue sun-brushed dial features luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers, a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, date window at 3 o’clock, and a central GMT hand for tracking a second time zone.

Powering the watch is the in-house Panerai Calibre P.9010, a self-winding movement equipped with 31 jewels, dual barrels, Glucydur® balance, and Incabloc® shock protection. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it delivers a robust 72-hour power reserve, offering hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and independent GMT functionality.

Delivered on a black alligator leather strap (22/20 mm) with titanium tang buckle, and accompanied by an additional rubber strap, the PAM01279 embodies the balance between dive-watch heritage and contemporary performance-oriented lightness.
