The watch features a 38 mm case crafted in 18K rose gold, beautifully adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds set into the bezel. The dial is a miniature work of art created using grisaille enamel, depicting a delicate Parisian scene with sculpted rose gold bridge elements and two lovers approaching each other.

Time is displayed through retrograde hour and minute indications, represented by the two lovers on the bridge. As the hands move, the characters gradually approach one another until they meet for a kiss at the top of the hour. The animation can also be activated on demand via the crown, allowing the wearer to trigger the romantic embrace whenever desired.

The case includes a cabochon diamond-set crown, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a solid caseback, offering 30 meters of water resistance suitable for everyday wear while preserving its delicate artistic craftsmanship.

Powering the watch is the automatic Valfleurier Q020 calibre, fitted with a specialized retrograde and animation module developed exclusively for Van Cleef & Arpels. The movement drives the retrograde time display and the poetic animation while delivering a power reserve of approximately 36 hours.

The watch is fitted with a shiny dark purple alligator leather strap, secured by an 18K rose gold ardillon buckle, enhancing the watch’s refined jewelry character.
