The Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon Carbon Blue – Ref. 645.QL.7117.RX represents one of the most technically sophisticated pieces within the Spirit of Big Bang collection, blending cutting-edge materials with high-complication watchmaking. Produced as a limited edition of 100 pieces, this model showcases Hublot’s mastery of contemporary materials through its distinctive blue carbon fiber composite case.

The watch features a 42 mm tonneau-shaped case crafted from layered carbon fiber with blue composite inclusions, giving the material a unique marbled appearance. The case is paired with a satin-finished carbon bezel secured by six H-shaped titanium screws, a signature design element of the Big Bang family. Sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on both sides reveal the mechanical architecture while ensuring durability.

The openworked sapphire dial highlights the watch’s technical complexity. The display features skeletonized hours and minutes positioned at 3 o’clock, a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator at 8 o’clock. The exposed architecture reveals the barrel and gear train, accented with subtle blue details that complement the carbon case.

At the heart of the watch is the Hublot Calibre HUB6020, a manual-winding tourbillon movement specifically designed for the tonneau-shaped case architecture. Comprising 30 jewels and beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), the movement delivers an impressive 115-hour power reserve (approximately five days) through its large mainspring barrel. The flying tourbillon enhances precision by counteracting positional errors in the regulating organ.

The watch is fitted with a black and blue structured rubber strap, secured by a black ceramic and black PVD titanium deployant buckle. Thanks to Hublot’s One-Click strap-change system, the strap can be easily swapped without tools.
