Produced between 2016 and 2023, this reference introduced the Cerachrom ceramic bezel to the stainless-steel Daytona line, significantly enhancing durability while giving the watch its modern, high-contrast aesthetic.

The 40 mm Oystersteel case is paired with a black Cerachrom bezel engraved with a tachymetric scale up to 400 units per hour, allowing precise measurement of average speeds — a hallmark feature of the Daytona since its introduction in 1963. The black dial is contrasted by white snailed chronograph sub-dials, creating a reverse-panda appearance that enhances legibility and visual balance. Applied hour markers and hands filled with Chromalight luminescent material ensure optimal readability in low-light conditions.

The robust Oyster case construction integrates a Triplock screw-down crown, screw-down chronograph pushers, flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a solid screw-down caseback, ensuring 100 meters of water resistance.

Powering the watch is the in-house Rolex Calibre 4130, an automatic chronograph movement widely regarded for its reliability and mechanical efficiency. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with 44 jewels, the movement features a column wheel and vertical clutch system for precise chronograph engagement and reduced wear. The blue Parachrom hairspring enhances resistance to shocks and magnetic fields, while the movement delivers an impressive 72-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer precision of −2/+2 seconds per day after casing.

The watch is fitted with the sporty Oystersteel three-link Oyster bracelet, secured by an Oysterlock safety clasp with Easylink 5 mm comfort extension, ensuring both durability and everyday comfort.
